Where Are You, Bear: A Canadian Alphabet Adventure ReviewI picked up this book for a friend with Canadian roots but read it to my own daughter first to check it out. I agree with the editorial review in that most of the words are generic -- the most "Canadian" page is "M is for Mountie." The other pages have generic words but the images depict Canadian locations, not necessarily something a child would pick up on.
I do like that there is a story/adventure wrapped around the alphabet so it's more than just an ABC book. The images are cute and engaging and my daughter seemed to enjoy looking at them.
If I could go back and do it again, I'd probably pick up "ABC of Canada" by Kim Bellefontaine instead as the reviews seem to indicate that it contains more "Canadian" words than this book.Where Are You, Bear: A Canadian Alphabet Adventure Overview
