Macroeconomics (With Study Guide CD-ROM) ReviewThis is by far the worst textbook that I have ever had the misfortune of being forced to read. I am in Professor Handas economic class and I have to say that this book is a pretty good description of his teaching style in general: convoluted, archaic, poorly organized and vague in places where it shouldnt be. Prof. Handa had us submit errors in his book to him for extra credit and my roommate actually found some completely WRONG definitions in part of the book. Nevermind that the grammar and punctuation of this textbook makes deciphering his definitions a tedious chore, and that the book is seemingly so illogically organized that references to past concepts are reintroduced with no semblance of context. It is unbelievable that this textbook actually got published. Those who were charged with editing it should honestly have their job credentials reconsidered.
Hopefully not too many other students will have this garbage forced upon them. As far as I can tell, this is the consensus from the entire Macroeconomics class that Handa is currently teaching. Overall there is still a lot of information in this book and it gets the job done, but it is hard for me to imagine a worse textbook.
