The Darkest Sin ReviewHistorical romances all too often serve up the same kind of hero. He's usually a combination rogue/womanizer until the heroine shows him the error of his ways.
Along comes Lord James Rushford in The Darkest Sin, a complex man who has loved and lost before he meets his destiny in the form of Rowena Woolcott. An amateur sleuth, he can help Rowena find the villain who has been tormenting her family for years. Along the way, he also has to come to terms with the murder of his former lover, the Duchess of Taunton,as well his burgeoning relationship with the spirited and courageous, Rowena. In the meantime, there's a complex plot whose threads connect it to the first book in the trilogy (which I haven't read but will!). Lots of passion and a dark, twisting storyline kept me reading. Can't wait for the final book in the series.The Darkest Sin Overview
