Canadian Brass Book of Intermediate Trumpet Solos: Trumpet and Piano with a CD of performances and accompaniments ReviewWhen I saw this book comming from Canadian Brass, I immediately had high expectations. I was not dissapointed.
There are some beautiful pieces in it: Lydia, Rondeau, Arietta, Gypsy Song, Serenade, The Brook among others (12 total). Though geared towards intermediate players, the book goes progressively from a general intermediate level to some advanced pieces (which is a plus).
The accompaniment on CD is beautifully done. The CD contains both full recordings including trumpet, and separate backing tracks.
